Wellbeing

Student well being is central to the philosophy of Emanuel School.

We are a forward-thinking P-12 school with a focus on developing the whole person. Building resilience, relationships and strengths are key facets of our specially designed welfare programs. We also have in place a number of programs linked to the NSW Board of Studies curriculum requirements for Personal Development, Health and Physical Education (PDHPE).

Our students are offered many opportunities for leadership through Primary and High School Student Representative Councils (SRC), our House system, Madrichim (leaders) and Roshei Yahadut (Jewish Life Leaders).

Year 12 students are given leadership strategies and skills, while our annual Year 6 Leadership Camp explores ethical and moral decision-making skills, how to create a harmonious and cohesive group and ways to communicate effectively.

We employ a school counselor and a careers advisor, offering all students support and careers counseling.
