Talented Emanuel School alumni, Mitch Burnie (Class of 2011), Donny Janks (Class of 2012), and Jesse Waller & Matt Gordon (Class of 2020), have been named as finalists in the prestigious JCA Jumpstart Shark Tank. This event highlights young Jewish community members who have developed social enterprises that enrich the Jewish community or are inspired by the principles of Tikkun Olam.
Our alumni will pitch their innovative ideas for a chance to win a share of $60,000 in funding. Beyond the financial support, they will gain invaluable exposure to community members, leaders, and the entrepreneurial legends known as Sharks. We are so proud of our alumni who have the opportunity to join the ranks of past winners such as Humanitix, CHS, 10×10, Little Dreamers, and MedEarth.
