Current opportunities

Jewish Studies Teacher (Full time, Term 2)

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Jewish Studies Teacher to join our team. This is a full-time, temporary position commencing at the beginning of Term 2 (28 April 2025 to 4 July 2025). This role will include teaching Years 7, 8, 10 and 11 Jewish Studies and Year 7 Hebrew.

HSIE Teacher | Business Studies and Economics

We are looking for two passionate and engaging teachers with a speciality in Business Studies and /or Economics teacher to join our team.  

We have two full time, permanent positions available:

  • Economics – Term 2 commencement 
  • Business Studies – Term 3 commencement, or earlier by negotiation. 

Specialist Teacher | Learning Differences and Disabilities (7-12)

Emanuel School is looking for a Specialist Teacher – Learning Differences & Disabilities (7-12) to join our Specialist Learning Centre. This is a part-time (0.6FTE over 4-5 days), permanent position. This position is available immediately.  We are looking for someone with a proven record of working collaboratively with teachers to support students who require additional support in High School Maths and Literacy. 

Music Teacher Years 3-6 | 0.4FTE Contract Role

We have an opportunity for a talented and passionate music teacher to join our team. This is maternity leave position available from 27 May 2025 until May 2026. This is a part-time (0.4FTE) position. Days of work are Tuesday and Wednesday.

Our Music Department operates a vibrant extra-curricular program and it is expected that all members of the team take an active role in the leadership and execution of the programs. We aim to develop in each student a life-long passion for music, foster a sense of achievement and encourage all students to strive towards excellence.

Primary School Operations Assistant

The Primary School Operations Assistant is a key member of our Primary School administration team. They provide support to the Deputy Head of Primary – Operations in all things relating to the Primary School, including attendance, camp/excursion organisation, event management, data entry, and supporting a variety of projects relating to the general life of the school. 

School Science Laboratory Technician

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Lab Technician to join our High School Science Department. This position is a part-time job share position working one day per week (Friday 8am – 4pm), term time only. 

Facilities and Operations Administration Assistant

The Facilities and Operations Team are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Administration Assistant. This is a permanent part-time position, requiring 15 hours per week, spread over 3 days. The days of the week are flexible.

Oboe/Bassoon Tutor

We are seeking an Oboe Teacher to commence Term 2, 2025. This role involves providing private and group tuition, with a focus on double-reeds, including beginner bassoon. The ability to guide clarinet lessons is highly desired. You will work across both the Junior and Senior school and must be available on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
