Employment

Emanuel School – a co-educational Jewish Day School – is a thriving place of learning. Students from Pre-school to Year 12 learn, play and flourish on our beautiful heritage-listed campus in the Eastern suburbs of Sydney, Australia. Our motto, Mind Spirit Being, encapsulates our school. We aim to open the mind, awaken the spirit and engage the whole being within a culture of excellence, respect and the desire to strive for one’s best.
We have recently received recognition as a 5-Star Employer of Choice by The Educator magazine. This prestigious accolade honors schools that excel in various aspects, such as offering competitive salaries, providing professional development opportunities, supporting mental health, and fostering an inclusive and respectful culture. These schools redefine the concept of being an exceptional employer.
In order to identify the schools with outstanding employee initiatives, The Educator conducted a national survey from January to February 2023. Out of numerous submissions for the 2023 5-Star Awards for Employer of Choice, The Educator carefully selected 20 schools which have gone above and beyond to support their staff. Emanuel School is proud to be one of those 20, nationwide.
