Digital Media and Community Engagement Assistant (part-time 0.5)

Do you want to be part of a community where you can get involved and make a difference?
Are you looking for balance and flexibility?

This newly created role will contribute to the development and delivery of the marketing, communications and community engagement strategy. 

The successful candidate will be a digital marketer with a strong background in developing online communities and content curation, as well as having proven experience in maximising user engagement and interaction.

You will be an integral part of the Marketing & Communications team of three and be responsible for:

  • Assisting with the development of effective social media plans
  • Enhance and develop the School’s existing social media channels, as well as scoping new opportunities
  • Create dynamic content across multi-platforms, including conventional written, graphic and video content
  • Develop content following search engine optimisation (SEO) that engages our community and supports and supports fundraising objectives
  • Work with the team to develop social media strategies and campaigns to support school events and achievements

This part-time (0.5 FTE) position is available immediately.

Innovation Educator (K-6)
Maternity Leave Contract: Term 1-3 2020

We are seeking an outstanding educator to lead the provision of opportunities for K–6 students to develop 21st century skills and dispositions in our exciting Primary School Imaginarium.

You will support the development of our students into innovative thinkers who are able to find and solve problems and to focus on both the processes and products of learning. The role will link closely with inquiry learning and transdisciplinary thinking.

You will also be responsible for building the innovative and technological skills in teachers in order for them to successfully teach in this area. This development of a culture of design, computational and innovative thinking and technology will occur within and beyond the curriculum.

This full-time contract position is available the start of the 2020 school year until the end of Term 3 2020. The successful applicant will have a relevant degree/teaching qualification and be accredited with NESA.

HSIE teacher (with Jewish Studies) Years 7-10 (part-time)
Contract until December 2020

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSIE and/or Jewish Studies teacher for Years 7-10. This part-time position (0.74 FTE) is available from Monday 9 September 2019. This is a 16-month maternity leave contract.

The successful applicant will have a relevant degree/teaching qualification and be accredited with NESA.
