Emanuel School celebrates our educators’ involvement in JCA’s Jewish Educators of Tomorrow (JET) Program which helps nurture the future of Jewish education and leadership.
Kobi Bloom, Head of Informal Jewish Life, and Gabriela Melocco, Drama Teacher, are serving as JET Mentors, helping shape the next generation of educators and ensuring that the values, wisdom, and vibrancy of Jewish learning continue to flourish.
Yael Adar, Informal Jewish Life Educator and Intern in the Jewish Studies and Hebrew Departments, has been a JET Fellow since 2024. This opportunity has offered her mentorship, professional development, and hands-on experience, empowering Yael to grow as an educator and deepen her impact on Informal Jewish Life at Emanuel and beyond.
Kobi, Gabriela and Yael’s involvement not only strengthens their own practice but also contributes to a collaborative, future-focused staff community dedicated to sustaining excellence in Jewish education and enriching student learning experiences across the School.
We are grateful to JCA for their commitment to this important project that celebrates and develops the educational leaders of tomorrow.
