Head of Library & Information Services K-6
We have an exciting opportunity for an energetic and passionate Head of Library & Information Systems to join our team. We see our library as the hub of learning and connection for the Primary School. The Head of Library & Information Services (K-6) will support staff and students to access information relating to the curriculum and foster a love of reading and learning.
This is a full time, permanent position and receives a Coordinator 1 Allowance. This is a leadership position that sits on the Primary School Executive team.
Working in our brand new library space, the Head of Library & Information Services (K-6) will teach library lessons across P-6 and be a key member of the Primary Academic team, working closely with the Director of Studies K-6 and Coordinator of Innovation K-6 to align library, information services and ICT integration with learning across the curriculum.
The Head of Library & Information Services (7-12) will have responsibilities across teaching and learning, management of the library space and collection, leadership and collaboration across the primary school, community engagement, and the promotion of library services. They will provide a stimulating, helpful library environment that is a focal point and showcase for student learning, curate the collection with age-appropriate literature and provide services in physical and virtual access to information.

Social Media and Digital Content Coordinator
We are looking for a dynamic Social Media and Digital Content Creator to join our team. This role is designed for a creative and tech-savvy individual who is passionate about storytelling and engaging with communities online. They will play a pivotal role in developing compelling content for our School’s social media platforms, advising on digital best practices, and maintaining a proactive and engaging online presence that reflects our school’s values and achievements.
This is a permanent, part time position. The hours 8am – 4pm, three days per week (Monday and Tuesday are required, flexible with either Wednesday or Thursday). Shorter hours over four days would also be an option. Attendance at school events outside of school hours, or on the days you don’t work will be required at times.
This role works all year round, with four weeks of annual leave. Additional time off during school holidays may be available by mutual agreement. Flexible working options, including working from home, will be available after the onboarding period.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager and working in a small team of 4, your responsibilities include content creation and management, social media strategy, website maintenance, LinkedIn content sourcing and support marketing initiatives across the school.
The successful candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications or at least two years of equivalent experience. They will have in-depth videography and photography experience, including editing software.

Receptionist
We are looking for an enthusiastic Receptionist to join our team. The Receptionist plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service to staff, students and school visitors as well as supporting the attendance processes of the school and general administrative support.
This is a part time role, working Thursday 8.00am to 4.30pm and Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm, term time only.
This is a temporary position until the end of the 2024 school year (13 December 2024), with a possibility of extension.

Piano Tutor
We are seeking applications from dedicated and proficient Instrumental Music Tutors specialising in Piano for individual student instruction. As an Instrumental Music Tutor at Emanuel School, you will play a crucial role as an accomplished musician. Your primary focus will be to enhance our diverse music program by providing high-quality tutoring, preparing students for examinations and performances.
Additionally, you will be willing to support the Emanuel School’s music program by aiding in rehearsals and performances, and possibly leading or assisting co-curricular ensembles if required. This position will commence Term 2, 2024. You will work across both the Junior and Senior school.
Possessing formal music qualifications, you have a track record of developing high performing young musicians, the skills and confidence to manage student behaviour and a demonstrated ability to both inspire young people to find their passion in music and motivate students at differing levels of ability.
You must be an outstanding communicator, creative and able to work well with students, parents, and other staff. You are committed to continual professional development and reflection and have a genuine interest in the growth of young people. You have a willingness to work outside of regular school hours for performances and events, when required. You are enthusiastic, passionate, and prepared to contribute to all aspects of School life, including supporting the vision and goals of the school.
The successful applicant will have formal tertiary music qualifications, experience teaching a wide range of students P-12 (beginner to HSC) and demonstrated experience and success in building a flourishing private teaching studio. They will possess exceptional organisational and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in both self-directed manner and collaboratively as part of a team, be confident in the use of technology and have a willingness to embrace it to enhance communication and learning. Accompaniment experience is highly desirable
